Young Artist Awards

This Lancaster Italian Cultural Society grant awards $100.00 for four $25 art awards to students in grades 7 to 12 for their accepted artwork submissions to the Lancaster County Young Artists competition and exhibition. These four awards are named after four famous Italian artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Amedeo Modigliani, and Artemesia Gentileschi.

 

Congratulations to the following winners of the Modigliani, Michelangelo, Artemisia Gentileschi, and Leonardo da Vinci Awards in the 2025 Lancaster County Young Artists & Scholastic Art Awards exhibition!

1. Jenny Pham (Grade 11, McCaskey High School), Son of Yellow Pencils, drawing, LCYA Honorable Mention, Modigliani Award, and Creative Futures Silver Award Scholarship Recipient 
 

2. Marcelle Cabrol (Grade 12, McCaskey High School), Portrait of My Sister, painting, LCYA Silver Award and Michelangelo Award 

 

3. Kylee Johns (Grade 12, Garden Spot High School), Worlds Collide, painting, LCYA Silver Award and Leonardo da Vinci Award 
 

4. Katherine Cooper (Grade 9, Hempfield High School), My Self Portrait in Oil Paint, painting, LCYA Gold Award and Artemisia Gentileschi Award
